How it works
The device is installed inside the vending machine. Customers simply scan a QR code with their smartphone, complete a quick and secure ID check, and the machine unlocks automatically, allowing the purchase to be completed right away.
Conventional age checks often fail due to unreliable readers or wrong use. IXATRIA provides a second, digital verification path via the customer’s smartphone, ensuring that transactions can be completed intuitively and successfully.
Compatible with standard MDB-based control boards (common in many vending machines). Just let us know your machine model and we’ll be happy to check compatibility for you.
IXATRIA is integrated between the existing control unit and the age verification system. Installation is quick and seamless as a plug-and-play solution with minimal downtime. Alternatively, integration via API is also possible.
In this case, the sale remains blocked, as required by law, until age verification has been successfully completed.
IXATRIA is installed inside the vending machine. This means that if the machine is suitable for outdoor use, IXATRIA is automatically suitable as well.
Yes. IXATRIA can be operated either as an alternative to or alongside the existing DCM5 system. Both systems can run in parallel without any issues.
Security
No unnecessary personal data is stored. The age verification process is GDPR-compliant; verification sessions are short-lived and deleted once completed.
All EU ID cards and passports are accepted. Driver’s licenses are not yet integrated, but this feature is already in development. We are also happy to review ID documents from other countries individually and add support where possible.

IXATRIA is offered as a subscription model: €30 net per month, billed annually. This includes the hardware, support, and software updates. Even with just a few saved purchases per week, the solution already pays for itself.
For API integration, pricing varies depending on volume, rates are lower, and a one-time installation fee applies.
